Warlock Evo1 and Evo3 by NezumiYuki Warlock Evo1 and Evo3 by NezumiYuki
Here's the latest evolution of Max and Yuki's SDX Warlock (Space Dreadnought Type X) along side the earlier Evolution 1 design for comparison.

The Evo3 is on the viewer's left, while the Evo1 is on the right.

The Warlock Evo3 is what Maximilian currently captains, and reflects the cutting edge in tachyon turbine technology. From the view in the upper panel, sharp eyes can make out a re-positioning of the Warlock's Type 1 Advanced Hado enjin, derived from salvaged and or captured Comet Empire capital ships powered by Magna Drive engines. The re-positioning of the Warlock's advanced wave engines makes damaging the electro-mechanical compressors more difficult with anything but a direct hit. This further improves upon the SDX design's already formidable survival rate.

Also most noticeable between the earlier evo1 on the right and the evo3 are an almost total weapons package swap out for totally new equipment . The evo3 now features turret casings that are made of Supra Steel armor in par with that used on the Bolar's Super Heavy Battleships, as well as the Dark Nebula's Pleiades Dreadnought. This allows the outer dimensions of each turret shell to be shrunk while still providing the most armor protection available, allowing tighter turret groupings and better mass management over the hull to improve upon pitch, roll and yaw performance.

The deletion of the Warlock's center stack of turrets on each catamaran hull has been replaced with a new, compact unmanned, automated rotary cannon which is essentially a very over-scaled M197 to both save on weight as well as improve overall firepower.

The clusters of sub turrets around the bridge tower have also been removed in favor, once again, on the newer technology Rotary Cannon in smaller scale, on par with the sub turrets still servicing the SDX design.

The open gap once occupied by the center turret now occupies a group of side launch torpedos of the same size as the forward and rear tubes, giving the Warlock increased guided weapons punch at great distances.

On the nose end of the Evo3 Warlock is fitted two pod type rotary cannon of same design as the turret weapons which now replace the older triple rifle turrets center position, further increasing the Warlock's Alpha Strike potential when nose-on to target.

Even the already formidable Type 100 advanced wave motion recoilless rifle has been improved upon!

The Mk-1 Type-100 recoilless WMG was already classed as "Hyper Hado ho" by sheer bore size alone, but now fitted with faster acting discharge valves to improve tachyon beam density, the Type-100 has doubled the muzzle energy of the earlier design and still uses the same tube and venturi as the Evo1 Warlock.

And to round off the improvements to the SDX design, the Evo3 now sports four additional forward torpedo tubes for a total of 12 forward launchers now slung under hull to better protect them from enemy fire.

I wonder what the Evo4 will look like? :XD:

******

SDX Warlock Evo1 and Evo3 *both shown here* are my original designs derived from Reiji Matsumoto fandom. ala Uchuu Senkan Yamato.

Made with :iconsketchupplz: Evo7 and 8 :XD:

Yuppers, it's a catamaran hull, with flat deck for a decent command tower and space for lot of rifles! Plus the gap between hulls was a convenient place to put the Wavemotion Recoilless and be clear on both ends of the back blast and muzzle blast. XD

Yeah. :XD:

It's commanded by Admiral Berlioz. :3

His skill coupled with Supplice's raw power makes for a devastating combo. ;3

So baceicaly what we do here is take the biggest chunk of raw mettle we can find and cover it in as many battleship related devices as possible! ^ ^

Very nice! :meow: I can also see this isn't random btw. ^ ^

:icononionxdplz: Thank you Stealth!

It took some hours of research into the matter, but since I ultimately wanted to model the Yamato, I felt I could do a little bit of fan related arts of my own too, so somewhere along the way I learned all that arcane techno malarkey and as evolution would suggest, came about with this mean machine! >: D
