I am so getting better!!! 
I think it's listening to all that old Disco tunes that's putting my muse in overdrive! Anyway here's an update to my draw it again type meme, of Queen Stasha of Iscandar.
I've made a subtle change to her hair styling that now looks less poofy and more pleasing to the eye, as well as removed some occluding lines so the image looks neater, and when I find the time, I'm going to ink this up, color it and present it to all of my fellow Leiji Matsumoto fans which also includes
whom recently made a journal letting everyone know he and his family are well and alive and kicking, so it make finishing Stasha more imperative since Jerry is as much, no wait MORE so a fan of Yamato than I, and I'd like to present a finished portrait of Stasha to him *this* as a welcome back to activity gift, even if his return is short and pressed for time but hey.. It's nice to know the old guy is well, alive and kicking!

This is another "Draw it again" type meme thingie that I'm doing for more practice.
This is Stasha, or to American audiences, Starsha of Iscandar in the Large Magellanic Cloud. Originally I scribbled up the fan art of Stasha as seen on the left, around this time about three years ago and at the time I though I was doing rather well with my skills, all things considering. I've been a hobbyist artisan for quite some time, yet its not until recently when I became a deviant that my interest with art and my skills have really taken off. XD Look closely at these two examples, and even though in sketch form and in progress, my latest attempt at portraying Queen Stasha utterly smokes my earlier attempt. 
I wonder how much more I would improve if looking back say another two or more years from now? Guess we shall see in said time.

Queen Stasha of Iscandar is Leiji Matsumoto's gal, but the original concept for Uchuu senkan Yamato goes to Yoshinobu Nishizaki. Leiji san reworked the story, characters and plot into the icon it has become, so for all intensive purposes, Yamato is nearly all Leiji's doing.
Current license holders of the Yamato Franchise???
