Here's a duplicate submission to Trimble's 3Dwarehouse but with a preview image you can't really get from the 3Dwarehouse.

Also this skp file has been revised as of today to fix accuracy issues with the original model. There were simply too many holes cut into the wheel rim to be accurate, so I lathed out a new center web and wheel hub, and made an array of 18 cylinders and booled them out of the newly revised center section. Now these wheels are accurate to Volkswagen OEM.

I made this wheel specifically for my own model Vanagon which I made some years ago but never finished. That image I'll post soon, but for now lets focus on this the accurate wheel I've made for that old model of mine. It features a polygon based thread pattern on a measurement precise tire/tyre 215mm wide with an aspect ratio of 75-percent meant to fit a fifteen inch wheel rim just like those you would find on the more common Transporter T3 Syncro models.

As with most zipped resources here on deviantArt, just unzip the folder, and open with SketchUp to use. Alternately, download from Trimble's warehouse, but since you're here reading this, you might as well download from dA and save time.
