Fury's new shoes

Echo's new boots are all laced up and ready to stomp some mud!

It took some fussing to get the rear track idler to line up with the track spacing, but luckily Shermans have a good deal of movement in their tension adjusters front to back, that allowed enough room for the very new, and very tight tracks to fit in place.  With some simulated wheel and track shoe wear, the tracks should sag slightly on each return roller and fit the tension idler better, but at the moment there's little if no slack at all between the links and the rollers and road wheels.

In the background you can see the simple single piece poly-group that serves as the crude place-holder.
This will be kept in the finished model to aid deforming the track links to conform to terrain and yet allow me to quickly zero the tracks back to their static, non-deformed state on the fly, with simple component and groups manipulation.

Next up for Fury would be the detailing of her guns, both main and secondary machine guns, as well as her pintle mounted fifty cal.

After that, various beauty bits added, such as the logs on ropes to grace her sides as impromptu additional armoring, as well as the various boxes, netting, and supplies stored on the exterior.
