Following The Pink one to Ponyville

While this looks like something right out of Gary's Mod, this is actually a rendering done entirely within SketchUp with default shaders and shadowing.

I have just a few small issues to sort out regarding the placement of Pinkie on her copter, but once I do have them sorted out, I'd like to post this in the warehouse for everyone to enjoy since well... there are already quite a few pony models there already, and since all of those works fall under fan-art and such, I don't foresee any troubles adding to the collection, unless of course has a sudden change of heart regarding fan-arts in 3d and starts knocking on Trimble's door...

If there is a fuss, I'll take down the submission myself, but seeing as how dA has no qualms about hosting fan arts, and in fact happily defends budding artisans practicing fan art, I'm more than happy to post this rendered image as a preview of sorts, as well as outright fan art.

There is one change that I made to the Pinkie Copter that is a departure from canon, and that would be the addition of a lemon lifesaver candy fenestron tail-rotor that otherwise has a spinning lollipop in it's place. I'm the sort who likes to interject a bit of logic and physics into everything because I can, and well because it's fun, so instead of the spinning lollipop that bronies suggest acts like a gyroscope to cancel out torque, I prefer to rely upon more seemingly logical methods for flight control, so I gave Pinkie a rather large lemon lifesaver candy with a set of whistle-pops mounted on a Skittles hub. And just like legacy Aerospatiale fenestron fan-tails, the whistle pops sing a nice tune as Pinkie flies by which without argument sounds worlds better than Eurocopter's 3rd generation fenestron. I'm sorry but Gen3 fenestron all sound like leaf blowers... I prefer the legacy units that sing!!

Speaking of singing fenestron... Here I have Yukikaze, my EC155 following the Pink one to ponyville.

For convenience, we could say that this is my other Planes-sona following Pinkiepie, and I guess we're about ten clicks West of Everfree Forest, and facing into the morning sunrise. We're low to the deck, roughly 200 meters or so, so I guess Dash and everyone else in Cloudsdale might be watching this strange white presence following Pinkiepie around and wondering what the hay is going on. Rest assured I pose no threat to Ponyville, nor Canterlot and the Royals. I'm just here to visit as I sometimes do on a whim.
