Brisby drawn again 2011-2015

At first I was not thinking of doing this, but after some thought I figured why not.

So yeah, this is what four years of enjoying one's hobby does to one's skills. You're mileage and rate of growth may vary.

I'm in no real hurry to improve, I take things as they happen and enjoy my hobby. But I am rather surprised how much my whole body anatomy has improved. I mostly focus on a character's face since that's the most seen element, but wow, it's almost second nature for me to flesh out the rest of a character as easily as I would the face. Well maybe not as easily, but certainly easier than three to four years back, that's for sure!

Next thing I need to work on are color values and shadows. That'd probably make for another good excuse to use this meme again at said time.
