Bear Bus

Bear season is almost upon us, and I'm sure our Canadian friends up North are preparing their snow buggies for the influx of tourists eager to see some Polars, so to amuse myself I created this conceptual Bear Tours Bus in in a total of perhaps a tad longer than half an hour using some pre-made parts. The bus body was the only thing constructed from scratch. XD

I like how this is shaping up so I intend to keep this model rather than throw it into my scraps folder on my hard drive. The body of this concept bus is only single walled, meaning the outer skin which you see in white, consists of a single layer only, for now. Later I can dive on the inside of this model and flesh out the interior.. give it seats.. a small bar.. and other amenities which real bear buses have, including the open deck on the back to view some bears up close and yet still be high enough above them to where the bears can't climb up and nibble on the tourist's sandwiches.. or them for that matter. XDDD

As mentioned before, this bus is a concept. Most of the Polar Buggies I've seen on Discovery Channel, History, and Nat Geo were all either smaller 4X4 or slightly larger 6X6 buses, but for my own design, figured I'd go large and make mine an 8X8! XDDD

Plus this was a good chance for me to showcase a future 3Dware house submission of mine, those being my newly made Top Loading 5-ton Rockwell axles, as well as my new hoops, some 66x43x25 inch Terra Tires which I'm hoping to contribute to other artisans' projects too.
